1. Coloque a alça de ombro por cima do
ombro esquerdo.
2. Estenda o braço direita em direção àparte
posterior da saco de aspirador.
3. Ajuste a alça até que a costura de alça na
bolsa coletora se encontre entre o polegar
e o dedo indicador.
4. Certifique--se de que a alça de ombro esteja
ajustada a fim de permitir um fluxo livre de ar
do tubo cotovelo. Se a bolsa estiver
dobrada, a unidade não operará
corretamente.

DICAS DE OPERAÇÃO

ABASTECIMENTO COM

ADVERTÊNCIA: Remova a tampa
de combustível devagar ao reabastecer .
A máquina está certificada para trabalhar com
gasolina sem chumbo. Antes do
funcionamento, misture a gasolina com óleo do
motor a 2 tempos refrigerado a ar , de boa
qualidade, concebido para uma mistura numa
relação de 40:1. A relação 40:1 obtém--se
misturando 5 litros de gasolina sem chumbo

OPERATING TIPS
WARNING: While vacuuming or
blowing debris, hold the unit with the muffler
side facing away from your body and clothes
(see OPERATING POSITION).
S To reduce th e risk of hearing loss
associated with sound level(s), hearing
protection is required.
S To reduce the risk of injury associated with
contacting rotating parts, stop the engine be-
fore installing or removing attachmen ts. Do
not operate without guard(s) in place.
S Operate power equipment only at reasonable
hours--not early in the morning or late at night
when people might be disturbed. Comply with
times listed in local ordinances. Usual recom-
mendations are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.,
Monday though Saturday.
S To reduce noise levels, limit the number of
pieces of equipment used at any one time.
S To reduce noise levels, operate power
blowers at the lowest possible throttle
speed to do the job.
S Use rakes and brooms to loosen debris be-
fore blowing.
S In dusty conditions, slightly dampen sur-
faces or use a mister attachment when wa-
ter is available.
S Conserve water by using power blowers
instead of hoses for many lawn and garden
applications, including areas such as gutters,
screens, patios, grills, porches, and gardens.
S W atch out for children, pets, openwindows,
or freshly washed cars. Blow debris away
safely.
S Use the full blower nozzle extension so the
air stream can work close to the ground.
S After using blowers and other equipment,
CLEAN UP! Dispose of debris in trash re -
ceptacles.
BEFORE STARTING ENGINE
WARNING: Be sure to read the fuel
information in the safety rules before you
begin. If yo u do not understand the safety
rules, do not attempt to fuel your unit. Contact
an authorized service dealer.
FUELING ENGINE
WARNING: Remove fuel cap slowly
when refueling.
This engine is certified to operate on
unleaded petrol. Before operation, petrol
must be mixed with a good quality 2--cycle
air--cooled engine oil designed to be mixed at
a ratio of 40:1. A 40:1 ratio is obtained by
mixing 5 liters of unleaded petrol with 0,125
liter of oil. DO NOT USE automotive oil or
marine oil. These oils will cause engine
damage. When mixing fuel, follow
instructions printed on oil container. Once oil
is added to petrol, shake container
momentarily to assure that the fuel is
thoroughly mixed. Always read and follow the
safety rules relating to fuel before fueling your
unit.
CAUTION: Never use straight petrol in your
unit. This will cause permanent engine
damage.
FUEL REQUIREMENTS
Use good quality unleaded petrol. The lowest
recommended octane grade is 90 (RON).
IMPORTANT
Use of alcohol blended fuels (more than 10%
alcohol) can cause major engine performance
and durability problems.
WARNING: Incorrect use of fuel and/
or lubric ants will c aus e problems s uc h as :
improper c lutc h engagements , ov erheat-
ing, vapor lock , power loss , lubric ation defi-
cienc y, deterioration of fuel lines , gas k ets
and internal c arburetor c omponents, etc .
Alc ohol blended fuels will c ause a high ab-
sor ption of moistur e in the fuel/oil mixtur e,
caus ing the separation of oil and fuel.
HOW TO STOP YOUR ENGINE
S Release the throttle trigger.
S Push and hold the STOP switch in the
STOP position until the engine stops.
BEFORE STARTING THE ENGINE
WARNING: YouMUSTmakesurethe
tubes are secure before using the unit.
D Fuel engine. Move at least 3 meters away
from the fueling site.
D Hold the unit in the starting position as
shown. Make sure the blower end is di-
rected away from people, animals, glass,
and solid objects.
