To keep the grey water tank fresh and remove smells it should be emptied and ushed regularly. Tank fresheners are
available in various brands and are highly recommended.
Fresh Water Tanks
When used for drinking water regular tank maintenance is vital. By regularly using a product such as Camec Tank
Clean you will reduce or eliminate bacteria and after taste. Always ll your tanks using a potable water grade hose.
Fitting a lter that removes smell, taste and bacteria is highly recommended.
Toilet Care and Maintenance
Chemicals
Always use water treatment and conditioning products recommended by the manufacturer.
Thetford
Waste Holding Tank: The recommended product for the waste holding tank on Thetford toilet systems is
Aqua Kem Blue or Aqua Kem Green for better environmental performance.
Cleaning Cassette Tank: “Cassette Tank Cleaner” is the recommended product for this application.
Flush Water Tank: Only suitable for MDC models that have a toilet ush tank.
