Recovery points
Do not attempt to recover via points that aren’t designated recovery point. You vehicle must be tted with rated
points that exceed the safe load of any recovery straps or tow straps being used.
Hardware
Shackles are an integral part of any recovery kit. Soft shackles pictured below add a great deal of safety to any
recovery situation as they are lightweight and a soft material reducing dangers of impact in the event of equipment
failure.
Traction boards, shovel and high lift jack are
extremely handy to have for recoveries.
Snatch straps should be rated for the entire
load you are recovering.
