What to do if water is escaping at the pressure relief valve in my MDC Caravan?
    • J
      James MartinezAug 5, 2025
If water is escaping at the pressure relief valve, the water pressure in the system may be too high. Adjust the water pump pressure to a maximum of 65 psi (4.5 bar). If connected to a central water supply exceeding this pressure, install a pressure reducer at the fresh water supply. Alternatively, the water might not be able to expand in the system, in which case you should contact the vehicle manufacturer about retrofitting a pressure compensation element. Finally, lime or dirt under the pressure relief valve seat could be the cause. Allow the appliance to cool, then slowly raise the test lever to flush the system, attempting to force out any debris. If this doesn't work, replace the pressure relief valve by a certified service technician.

If water is escaping at the water inlet filter, it is likely due to lime or dirt under the O-ring seats. Clean the O-rings and their corresponding sealing surfaces with clean water.

What to do if there is no hot water at the faucet in my MDC Caravan?

If there is no hot water at the faucet, first check if the gas supply is turned on. If not, turn it on. Next, ensure the gas tank is not empty; refill or replace it if needed. Verify that the appliance is switched on according to the operating procedures. Also, make sure the fresh water supply is open and the power supply to the appliance is on. If LED 2 flashes red, it indicates a defect, and you should contact a certified service technician.

Why is the hot water temperature too low in my MDC Caravan?
    • J
      Justin MitchellAug 20, 2025
If the hot water temperature is too low, it could be due to several reasons. First, the gas flow to the appliance might be too low. Consult your vehicle documentation to check if the gas supply can provide enough gas, or contact a service technician to verify the gas installation. Second, the hot water flow might be too high, or the cold water temperature might be too low. Try turning down the hot water at the faucet to reduce the flow rate, or have a certified technician install a flow rate throttle. Lastly, too much lime scale in the appliance can cause this issue, so the appliance may need decalcification.

Why is the yellow status LED 3 off on my MDC Caravan?
    • L
      Lisa CochranAug 26, 2025
If the yellow status LED 3 is off even when an operating mode is selected, first check if the power switch is OFF and switch it ON. Also, verify that the power supply to the appliance is switched on. If the power supply was interrupted, try resetting the appliance by switching it OFF at the control panel, waiting 2 seconds, and then switching it back on.

What to do if I hear boiling noises in my MDC Caravan's water heater?
    • M

If you hear boiling noises, it is likely due to too much lime scale in the AquaGo instant water heater. The appliance needs to be decalcified.
