Service Record and Schedule
300 miles FIRST SERVICE CHECKED
Hitch
• Check hitch bolts to 90Nm/66ft lb.
• Lubricate
Handbrake
• Inspect and adjust handbrake
Brakes &
Bearings
• Inspect and adjust brakes. Check bearings are well greased and crown
nut is correctly tightened.
Wheel nuts
• Inspect condition and torque to (125Nm/92ft lb ½” studs)
(140Nm/103ft lb 14mm studs alloy rims) (200Nm/148ft lb 14mm studs
steel rims)
Tires
• Inspect for abnormal wear, damage, and pressure
General
fixings
• Ensure no loose fittings
Seals &
Latches
• Check all seals on doors and hatches compress 30-50%. All seals in
serviceable condition and free of damage.
Suspension
• Grease bushes and check for play.
• Check torque on suspension hanger bolts (190nm)
• Check retaining chain shackles tight.
