Loading Your Trailer
Loading your trailer can have an effect on the overall handling of the trailer and tow vehicle combination. Loading
affects tongue weight and balance which must be taken into consideration.
DO NOT exceed the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or the stated cargo capacity which can be
found on the trailers tire placard or load carrying capacity label.
Always load cargo and luggage to keep weight even on both sides of the trailer.
Always load to achieve around 10% of total load as Tongue weight. This is a generally recommended
standard to achieve a safe balance for handling.
