Canopy Lifting Mechanism (Pop Tops Only)
The canopy lift mechanism requires maintenance as per the maintenance schedule.
Yellow arrows indicate light lubrication with lanolin based lubricant. (Every 6 months)
Red arrow indicates protecting the spring with a lanolin based lubricant. (Every 12 months)
Roof Skirt Elastic Cord
The elastic cord surrounding the PVC roof skirt is placed to ensure the skirt pulls inward when lowering the roof.
This is an important function that protects the skirt from mechanical damage from the lifting mechanism and
getting pinched by the roof. Regular inspection and replacement when necessary is part of the maintenance
schedule. The illustrations below show the correct tension marked by a green
and incorrect shown by the red
X.
