Connecng the Breakaway
The breakaway lanyard is connected to a simple switch on the drawbar. When connecng the lanyard to the tow
vehicle it should be connected to a solid part of the vehicle. Do not incorporate its connecon with the safety
chains.

Connecng the Safety Chains
Chains should be crossed over and connected with suitable rated shackles. Ensure they are connected in a way to
prevent them dragging on the road but not too ght as to restrict the arculaon of the vehicle and trailer
combinaon.
Connecng the Electrics
When connecng ensure the electric cables to your tow vehicle cannot drag on the road or foul the coupling. If
necessary, use zip es or like keep them neat and safe from damage
