3.2.8 Minimum Fireplace Size Requirements
To install this gas-fired Insert inside a wood burning fireplace, minimum width, height, and depth requirements apply, see table
below. The required minimum width and height are constant. However, the depth required varies with the surround outer edge
depth. Decide which surround outer edge depth to use based on the available depth.
3.2.8.1 Floor Cover Plate
A floor cover plate is supplied with this Insert. Do not remove this floor cover plate for any reason. The cover plate position is
adjustable, front to back, by 1/4”.
To adjust the floor cover plate position, loosen four Philips head screws (do not remove, loosen only) and adjust the floor cover
plate position dependent on if you will be using a decorative door kit faceplate surround or a Basix surround. For a faceplate for
door kits, slide the floor cover plate forward fully and tighten the screws. For a Basix surround, push the floor cover plate
rearward fully and tighten the screws.
