Change the engine oil and filter. D D
Touch-up paint the power package and spray with
corrosion guard.

Change the transmission fluid. D
Replace the fuel filter(s). D
Check the steering system and the remote control for
loose, missing or damaged parts. Lubricate the cables
and linkages.

Retorque the engine mounts. D
Check the electrical system for loose, damaged or
corroded fasteners.

Inspect the condition and tension of the belts. D
Check the cooling system and the exhaust system
hose clamps for tightness. Inspect both systems for
damage or leaks.

Disassemble and inspect the seawater pump and
replace worn components.
D
Clean the seawater section of the closed cooling
system. Clean, inspect and test the pressure cap.
Check the anodes and replace if 50 percent eroded.

Replace the air filter. D

Lubricate engine coupler every 50 hours if operated at idle for prolonged periods of time.

Gray sterndrive U-joint cross bearings have grease fittings and require lubrication at specified
intervals. Black sterndrive U-joint cross bearings do not have grease fittings and do not require
additional lubrication.
