Ifthebrakingefciencydecreasesduetovehiclefailure,
pleasecontactalocalAuthorisedRepairerforservice
assoonaspossible.
BrakeEnergyRegeneration
IBSsupportsbrakeenergyregeneration.Whenthebrake
pedalispressedforbraking,theIBSwilldeterminethe
driver'sdemandforbrakingforce.Thedrivemotorwill
convertthevehicle'skineticenergyintoelectricalenergy,
whichisstoredinthehighvoltagebatterywhenthevehicle
isdecelerating.Thisprocesscanimprovetherangeofthe
vehicle.
BodyStabilityControlSystem
ThebodystabilitycontrolsystemincludesDynamic
StabilityControlSystem(SCS)andT ractionControl
System(TCS).
SCSisdesignedtoassistthedriverincontrolofdriving
direction.WhenSCSdetectsthatthevehicleisnotmoving
intheintendeddirection,itwillintervenebyapplyingbrake
forcetoselectedwheelsorthroughthepowersystem
topreventslidingandstabilisethedrivingdirectionby
correctingtheunder-steeringorover-steering.
TCScontributestomaintainingthecontroltothevehicle
byimprovingthevehicle'stractiontrafcabilityanddriving
stability.TCSmonitorsthedrivingspeedofeachwheel
individually.Ifspinisdetectedononewheel,thesystem
willautomaticallybrakethatwheel,transferringtorque
totheopposite,non-spinningwheel.Ifbothwheelsare
spinning,thepowersystemoutputtorquewillbereduced
untiltractionisregained.
SCSandTCSareautomaticallyswitchedonwhenthe
vehicleispoweredon.Andtheycanbeswitchedoffby
usingtheswitchlocatedontheInfotainmentdisplay.
Note:DisablingSCSandTCSwillnotaffectthe
operationofABS.AlwaysdisableSCSandTCSwhen
drivingwithsnowchainstted.
