Whenthevehicleisinmotion,DONOT
switchofftheignitionorremovethekey,
otherwisethesteeringwheelmaybelocked,
makingitimpossibletoturnthevehicle.
Whenthevehicleisinmotion,DONOT
touchthekeytoavoidengineameout!
Theignitionswitchislocatedattherightsideofthe
steeringcolumn.Functionofeachpositionisasfollows:
Position0(LOCK/OFF)
•Thekeycanbeinsertedorremoved.
•Aftertheengineisstoppedandthekeyispulledout,
turnthesteeringwheeltoonesidetolockthesteering
wheel.
Position1(ACC)
•Whentheengineisnotstarted,thekeycannotbe
removed.
•Someelectricalequipmentcanbeoperated,suchas
powerwindows,electricrearviewmirrors.
Position2(ON/RUN)
•Allelectricalequipmentareoperational.
•Afterthevehicleisstarted,theengineisrunning.
Position3(START)
•Starttheengine.
•Releasethekeyimmediatelyaftertheengineisstarted,
theignitionswitchwillreturntoON/RUNposition
automatically.
