1T urnoffallunnecessaryelectricalappliance(including
A/C);
2Applytheparkingbrake(referto"BrakeSystem"of
thissection);
3MakesuretheshiftleverisinPorNposition.
Note:Whentheshiftleverisinanyother
positions,theenginecannotbestarted.
4Steppingdownthebrakepedal;
5PresstheSTARTSTOPbuttonontheinstrument
panel,andreleasethebuttonaftertheenginebegins
tostart.
Note:Iftheenginecannotoperate(evenifthestart
buttonisconstantlypressed,startoperationwill
bestoppedafter15secondstoavoiddamagingthe
starter),pressSTARTSTOPbuttonagaintomake
theignitionswitchreturntoONstatetostopengine
starting.Inordertorestarttheengine,pressthe
STARTSTOPbuttonagainwiththebrakepedalnot
depressed,andstarttheengineaftertheignition
switchisrestoredtoOFFposition.
Ifthesmartkeyisnotinthecarorisdisturbed,thedriver
messagecentrewillremindthatthesmartkeyisnotfound.
Ifthebatteryintheremotekeyneedstobereplaced,the
drivermessagecentrewillremindtoreplaceremotekey
battery,andthecarcanstillrun.
