notre-inatethetire.
SystemOperation
ThesystemiscontrolledbytheSCSsystem,
whichconstantlymonitorsthespeedofeachwheel.If,
duringnormaldrivingconditionswiththebrakesnot
applied,theSCSdetectsthatonewheelisrotatingfaster
thantheothers,itdeducesthatthepressureofthattire
hasfallenbelowthepredenedlimitofthesystem.As
aresult,thewarninglightontheinstrumentpackwill
illuminate(alwaysyellow).
Checkyourtiresattheearliestopportunityandreinate
tothecorrectpressures.Referto‘TirePressures(Cold)’.
SystemMalfunction
Thissystemisself-monitoring,ifamalfunctionisdetected,
theTPMSwarninglamp(yellow)ontheinstrumentpack
willashfor90secondsrstandthenilluminate.
Note:Whenapunctureisdetected,thesystemwill
requiresometimetoanaliseinformationpriorto
illuminatingthewarninglamp.
Undercertainconditionsthewarninglightmayilluminate
whenafaultisnotpresent.theseconditionsinclude:
Drivingonicyorwetsurfaces.
Frontaxlesliporexcessivelateralacceleration.
Snowchainstted.
Anonrecommendedtiretted(includingsparetire).
TPMSnotresetaftertirereplacement.
TPMSnotresetaftertirepressureadjustment.
Roughterraindrivingforexcessiveperiods.
Bendingormountaintypeterraindrivingforexcessive
periods.
Excessiveluggageweightchangefromwhenlastreset
carriedout.
TPMSwillnotrespondimmediatelyifatire'blowsout'.
