willincrease.Itisessentialthatallunnecessaryelectrical
equipmentareswitchedoffduringenginestart.
IMPORTANT
•Ifenginestarthasfailedfor3consecutivetimes,seek
help.Ifthecustomercontinuestostart,waitfor10
minstomakesurethestartermotoriscooledand
thebatteryisrestored,otherwisethestarterandthe
batterymaybedamaged.
•DONOTleavetheignitionswitchinpositionACC
orpositionON/RUN/STARTforalongtimewhenthe
engineisnotrunning,otherwiseitmayleadtobattery
dischargeduetotheuseofelectricalequipments.
•Engineimmobiliserisavailableforthevehicle.Anykey
madeprivatelycannotstarttheengine.
•Thecontrolofthevehicleiscompletedbyvarious
electroniccontrolsystems.Whenthereiselectric
wavegeneratedinthevicinityofthevehicle,ora
devicewhichcangenerateelectronicwaveisattached
duringstarting,theymayleadtofalseactuationof
variouscontrolsystemsofthevehicle.
StoppingtheEngine
Belowaretheproceduresofstoppingtheengine:
1Depressthebrakepedalafterthevehicleissafely
stopped;
2Applytheparkingbrake;
3Forautotransmissionvehicle,ensurethattheshift
leverisinPposition.
Note:Iftheparkingbrakeispulledupbutthe
shiftleverisnotfullyinparking(P)position,then
itisverydangeroustogetoff.Thecarmaymove
suddenlytoinjureyourselforothersifyouoperate
theengine.
4Formanualtransmissionvehicle,placetheshiftlever
inNposition;
5Forvehicleswithkeystart,turnthekeyfrom
ON/RUNpositiontoLOCK/OFFpositiontostop
theengine,andremovethekey;
6Forvehicleswithkeylessstart,pressSTARTSTOP
buttontostoptheengine.
