strongvibrationornoise.Itisnormalduringtheoperation
ofHDC.
Note:Duringtheoperationofhilldescentcontrol
(HDC)system,pleaseDONOTswitchtheshiftlever
to"N"position.Suchoperationmaydeactivatethe
HDCfunction.
HDCOn/Off
WhentheignitionswitchisplacedinONposition,HDC
systemisdeemedasclosed.Pressthebuttontoturnon/off
HDCsystem.
Normally,HDCsystemhasfourstatesasfollows:
1Standby:pressHDCswitchtostartHDCsystemand
enterintostandbystate.AndHDCindicatoronthe
instrumentpackilluminatesgreen.
2Operating:inStandbymode,whenthevehicledrives
downtheacutedownhillsurface,andthedriverdoes
notdepressthebrakeandacceleratorpedal,ifthe
vehiclespeedisreducedtolowerthan25km/h,HDC
systemwillautomaticallyenterintotheOperating
state.Meanwhile,HDCindicatorontheinstrument
packilluminatesgreen,whichisaccompaniedbythe
workingnoiseofthebrakepump,andthevehicle
speedisobviouslyreduced.
Whendrivingforward,thetargetspeedunderthe
controlofHDCsystemis7km/h.
Whenreversing,thetargetspeedunderthecontrolof
HDCsystemis3km/h.
