2. On the hopper end opposite to discharge side on
a dual sided machine, remove bib assembly (D).
On single sided machine, remove end plate on this
end.
3. Start machine as in section 5.2.
4. On operator console, pull E-stop button to middle
position. Do not release parking brakes.
5. Toggle conveyor on-off button to start conveyor
belt.
6. Increase belt speed with conveyor speed controller
and watch drive chain travel over sprockets on
hopper end opposite to discharge side.
If chain is loose, perform following steps.
7. Turn off conveyor belt and engine.

1. Axle/Differential: Check gear oil level monthly.
Change oil at rst 100 hours then every 700 hours
thereafter.
2. Transmission/Transfer Case: Check ATF oil level
monthly. Change oil at rst 50 hours then every
1000 hours thereafter.
3. Planetary Reduction Axle Ends: Check gear oil
level every 200 hours. Change oil at rst 100 hours
then every 1000 hours thereafter.
4. Steering Articulation/Brake Actuator: Pump grease
into four ttings monthly.
5. Tighten screws, bolts and nuts at rst 10 hours and
every 200 hours thereafter.
6. Check and adjust SAHR brake at rst 100 hours
and every 1000 hours thereafter.
7. Check and adjust service brakes every 500 hours.
Hours mentioned are machine hours.

6.3 Conveyor Belt
6.3.1 Adjust Conveyor Belt tensIon
^ WARNING
Prevent serious injury or death.
Before performing inspections, service or
maintenance:
Park machine on rm, level surface and
engage parking brake.
Switch engine off.
Close and lock control panel cover.
Chock tires.
1. Check the distance “A” between the edge of the
hopper frame (B) and the point where the belt
touches the lower chain guide rail (C). If the distance
is less than 34” The belt may be loose.
