Water hardness
Your dishwasher is fitted with a water
softener.
- You should programme the dish-
washer to the correct water hardness
for your area.
- Your local water authority will be able
to advise you of the water hardness
level in your area.
- Where the water hardness fluctuates
e.g. between 1.8 and 2.7mmol/l (10–
15°dH - German scale) always pro-
gramme the dishwasher to the higher
value (2.7mmol/l or 15°dH in this ex-
ample).
If the water hardness in your area is
available in a unit other than °dH, you
can convert the values as follows:
1°dH = 0.18mmol/l = 1.78°fH
Setting the water hardness level
Select the water hardness level in
your area and confirm using OK.
AutoDos (automatic dispens-
ing)
Automatic dispensing automatically ad-
justs the amount of detergent to the se-
lected programme. In the Auto pro-
gramme, the quantity is adjusted de-
pending on the degree of soiling of the
crockery.
If you want to extend the service life of
the PowerDisk, you can reduce the dis-
pensing quantity. The programme’s
cleaning performance may decrease as
a result.
If you want to improve the cleaning per-
formance, you can increase the dis-
pensing quantity. This reduces the ser-
vice life of the PowerDisk.
Setting the Dosage amount
For best results, you can adjust the dis-
pensing quantity of the PowerDisk.
Select the Dosage amount menu op-
tion.
Select the desired setting.
