Automatic dispensing/AutoDos
Before you can use AutoDos, you must
insert a PowerDisk containing powder
detergent into the PowerDisk compart-
ment.
One PowerDisk contains enough deter-
gent for approx. 20cycles, depending
on the chosen programme.
PowerDisks are available to order dir-
ectly from the Miele online shop, the
Miele Customer Service Department
or from your Miele dealer.
 Risk of chemical burns from re-
sidual detergent.
Detergents have a caustic effect.
This can cause health problems and
damage to surfaces. If the AutoDos
is used incorrectly, residual deter-
gent may drip onto the floor area in
front of the dishwasher.
Always remove residual detergent
from in front of the dishwasher im-
mediately.
Activating AutoDos
 Switch the dishwasher on using
the sensor control.
 Before you first use AutoDos, remove
the tab from the AutoDos lid and dis-
pose of the tab appropriately.
 Insert a PowerDisk (see “Automatic
dispensing/AutoDos – Inserting a
PowerDisk”).
The AutoDos function will be activ-
ated automatically.
The message AutoDos activated will ap-
pear on the display.
This setting applies to all programmes
and you can change it at any time using
the AutoDos sensor control.
If no programme is started for
48hours, the PowerDisk will automat-
ically be rotated so that the detergent
does not clump together. If this hap-
pens, the message Powder refreshing
will be shown in the display when the
dishwasher is switched on. No deter-
gent will be dispensed.
