Important:
Before replacing the complete potentiometer assembly (Figure 5-19, Item
3) and the indicator cylinder (Figure 5-19, Item 4), ensure the following:
The cam (Figure 5-19, Item 2) of the belt drive cog must point upwards
and the indicator cylinder should be set to show the lowest setting
(“Automatic” for S 280i).
Note:
For S 278i, the suction power selector is on the handle of the wired hose
(Section 5.22).
