5.19 Motor Electronic (Speed Control Board)
5.19.1 S 3xx
1. Remove the motor (Section 5.18).
2. Depending on model, either remove the 2 Phillips screws securing the
electronic or pull out the electronic from its plug connections.
5.19.2 S 4xx
1. Remove the 2 Phillips screws securing the electronic.
2. Pull out the electronic from its plugs on the motor.
5.20 Motor Brushes
5.20.1 S 3xx
1. Remove the motor (Section 5.18).
2. Pull off the rear holding plate on the motor.
3. Remove 2 screws from each brush.
4. Remove the brushes.
Note:
When the brushes need replacing, both must always be changed at the same
time.
5.20.2 S 4xx
1. Remove the motor holder (Figure 5-36, Item 2).
2. Unscrew the Torx screws from the brush holders. Unplug and remove the
brush holders.
