6.0 Fault Diagnosis
6.1 Improved Castor (S 2xx Only)
To improve the floor-running properties of canister vacuum cleaners a
modified castor and a new washer have been introduced. This combination,
ready-lubricated with silicone oil, is available from the spares department
under part no. 3594262.

6.2 Dirty Dustbag Compartment (S 27x and S 28x Only)
6.2.1 Dustbags, Old and New Versions
Possible cause:
The raised rim (Figure 6-2, Item 3) on the dustbag collar (Figure 6-2, Item 1)
may indent and deform the sealing ring on the dust guide (Figure 6-2, Item 2).
A dustbag without a raised rim on the collar (Figure 6-3, Item 1) can then not
form a tight seal on the deformed sealing ring (see caution symbol in Figure 6-
3) of the dust guide (Figure 6-3, Item 2).
