5-3. Replacing Head Tube Liner
Ref. 243 736-A / Ref. 243 736-C
The standard head tube liner will
accommodate wire diameters of
.023 thru .035 (0.8 thru 0.9 mm)
wire size.
Old Style Liner
1 Head Tube
2 Nut
Loosen nut and remove head tube
from gun.
3 Liner
Pull liner out of gun.
Insert liner into gun and reinstall
head tube onto gun.
New Style Liner And Guide Pin
The new style liner is supplied with
an outlet guide pin and jump liner.
4 Guide Pin
5 Set Screw
6 Nut
7 Lock Washer
To replace the old style liner,
remove outlet guide pin by
loosening set screw and remove
nut and lock washer.
Replace with new outlet guide pin
and jump liner. Install lock washer
and nut.
Tighten nut and set screw.
Install new style liner as shown.
