Set an ink cartridge to the ink station.
• When the ink cartridge is set, filling is automati-
cally started.
• Upon the ink station, the inserting location is allocated for each ink color. Set the ink car-
tridge according to the cartridge label under the ink station.

Ink is filled up.
• When 600cc cartridge is set, the screen automatically switches to the cartridge weight
entry screen after ink filling. See P.3-48 “Inputting weight of the cartridge after initial ink fill-
ing”.

It returns to the local mode.
If ink is not filled in step 5
If [INK NEAR END], [INK END] or other ink errors occur, it does not start ink filling.
If ink filling is not started in step 5
(1) Press the key to go back to the display of step 2.
(2) Press the key to check the state of the ink cartridge.
(3) Solve an ink error or others ( P.5-5), operate from step 2 again.
• If blurring or missing is found in printing after initial fill of ink, "Head cleaning"( P.2-21) or
"Filling up ink"( P.4-21) .
