(6) Removal of the CCD Unit
1. Remove the Original Glass.
2. Remove 15 screws and the CCD Unit cover.
(7) Removal of the Scanner, Exposure Lamp, and Inverter Board
1. Remove the control panel, Front Cover, Rear Cover, and Original Glass.
2. Remove the foam seal and mylar, one each at the front and rear.
NOTE
• Ready a new foam seal and mylar and affix them after the procedure.
3. Unplug one connector.
4. Remove three screws and the CCD Unit.
NOTE
• NEVER attempt to loosen or remove screws that
are not specified when removing the CCD Unit.
<<Reinstallation of the CCD Unit>>
• Temporarily secure the CCD Unit with each of the
screws at the center of each slot.
• After the CCD Unit has been installed, adjust the
position of the CCD Unit.
