3-8. IMAGE TRANSFER SECTION
(1) Removal of the Image Transfer Roller Assy
1. Open the Right Door.
(2) Cleaning of the Pre-Image Transfer Lower Guide Plate
1. Open the Right Door.
(3) Cleaning of the Charge Neutralizing Plate
1. Open the Right Door.
2. Loosen one fixing bracket mounting screw.
3. Turn to remove the Pre-Image Transfer Upper
Guide Plate.
NOTE
• When reinstalling the fixing bracket, make sure
that the hook of the fixing bracket fits into the slot in
the Pre-Image Transfer Upper Guide Plate.
2. Using a soft cloth dampened with alcohol, wipe
the Pre-Image Transfer Lower Guide Plate clean
of dirt.
2. Using a soft cloth dampened with alcohol, wipe
the Charge Neutralizing Plate clean of dirt.
NOTE
• Use care not to allow the Image Transfer Roller to
be touched with alcohol.
• Do not allow the soft cloth to be caught by the tip of
the Charge Neutralizing Plate.
