3.5 Metering
Metering is the process of how your camera decides to assign the right shutter
speed and aperture based on the amount of light the camera can pick up. This
setting allows you to set the “target” size of the camera’s field of view to be metered.
1.
To access this menu, press the MENU button.

Once in the menu, press the UP and DOWN buttons to navigate. Pressing the LEFT
and RIGHT buttons will switch the menu from Photo settings to Video or System
settings.
3.
Select ‘Metering’ and press the OK button to enter the submenu.

You may select from:
Multi
Evaluates the light intensity at multiple points in the frame and automatically
determines the best value for the light meter.
Center
For metering the object in the center of the screen.
Spot
For metering the block displayed in the center of the screen.

Highlight your selection and press the OK button to confirm.
6.
Press the MENU button to exit the settings menu and return to shooting.
3.6 Auto Focus Lamp
This setting adjusts the to assist the camera’s system in attaining a proper focus
point.
1.
To access this menu, press the MENU button.
2.
Once in the menu, press the UP and DOWN buttons to navigate. Pressing the LEFT
and RIGHT buttons will switch the menu from Photo settings to Video or System
settings.
3.
Select ‘Auto Focus Lamp’ and press the OK button to enter the submenu.
4.
You may select from Auto and Off.
5.
Highlight your selection and press the OK button to confirm.
6.
Press the MENU button to exit the settings menu and return to shooting.
3.7 Face Detection
Face detection simply detects the face in the frame and then it set the autofocus and
exposure settings to give priority to the face.
1.
To access this menu, press the MENU button.
2.
Once in the menu, press the UP and DOWN buttons to navigate. Pressing the LEFT
and RIGHT buttons will switch the menu from Photo settings to Video or System
settings.
3.
Select ‘Face Detection’ and press the OK button to enter the submenu.
4.
You may select from On and Off.
