Console Setup and Use
6.1.
Installation
Upon delivery of the console, perform a visual inspection of the shipping container and all system components for obvious
shipping damage prior to use. Retain the shipping container and immediately notify the shipping carrier of any damages
found.
To lift the console, place hands underneath the base of the unit.

WARNING
The neXus console automatically adjusts for the mains voltage and frequency. Confirm that the correct
fuses are being used. Refer to section 10 in instructions for fuse replacement

Care should be taken to stay within the general operating conditions.

The console can be placed on an appropriate table or cart outside of the sterile field.
CAUTION Adequate air circulation is needed to cool electronic components inside of the unit. Do not block the
cooling fan at the console rear or the air vents on the console bottom. Do not place the unit on a towel,
foam or other soft surface since the material may block the air vents. Blocking these vents may cause unit to
overheat and malfunction or create a shock hazard. A clear drape can be used to protect the console front
panel but do not cover the pump housing or other console portions.
