6000 Managed Application
Server (MAS)
Provides customers with a remotely managed, on-premises
appli
cations server that supports a full range of network server
capabilities such as file and print sharing, web and email
services, and a secure firewall.
ADMIN Administrator.
Blade A software component or application of the total 6000 MAS
sy
stem.
Firewall Hardware or software, installed in a networked environment to
prevent commu
nication that is no authorized by the network
policy. It prevents intrusion from a connected network device
into other networked devices.
ICP Integrated Communications Platform. A Mitel phone system,
