16 MULTIPLE CPU SYSTEM FUNCTION
16.2 Operation Settings
Applicable errors to the stop setting
The following table lists the applicable errors to the setting that specifies the operation of all the CPU modules of when a major
or moderate error has occurred in any of the CPU modules.
Synchronous startup setting
Startup time is synchronized among the CPU modules. This setting eliminates the need for an interlock program that monitors
the startup time of another CPU module when accessing it. Note, however, that the startup of the entire system delays
because the system starts up with the last CPU module.

Group setting for the synchronized start-up is available. For example, a setting in which only CPUs No.1
and No.2 start synchronously within a multiple CPU system with four CPU modules is possible.
If a reserved (empty) CPU is specified to synchronize, it is skipped and the other CPUs in the group start
synchronously.
This setting is designed to access to each CPU module without interlock in the multiple CPU system. It is
not intended to be used for starting operation processing at the same time across CPU modules after
startup.
