The CVT will automatically and continuous-
ly change its gear ratio depending on road
and driving conditions. This helps achieve
smooth driving and excellent fuel efficiency.
If your vehicle is equipped with shift paddles,
you can manually shift up and shift down the
transmission. Refer to “Sports mode” on page
6-23.
Selector lever operation
The CVT selects an optimum gear ratio auto-
matically, depending on the speed of the ve-
hicle and the position of the accelerator ped-
al.
For vehicles equipped without shift paddles
For vehicles equipped with shift paddles
While depressing the brake pedal,
move the selector lever through
the gate.
