1 Preparation for tire replacement
Park the vehicle on a flat, hard surface. Pull the
parking brake all the way on. If your vehicle has
a manual transmission, place the gearshift lever
in the neutral position. If your vehicle has an
automatic transmission, place the range selec-
tor lever in the “P” position.
Be sure to stop the engine.
If you get a flat tire while on the road and need
to change it on the spot, pull up your vehicle in a
safe place where it will not block traffic, and
cause your hazard warning lamps to flash and
use a red or white flag or cloth to give warning to
passing vehicles.
Have all passengers get out of the vehicle.
Block the tire diagonally opposite to the tire to
be replaced with a chock.
Example:
Block the left front tire if the right rear tire is to be
replaced.
Prepare a replacement tire.
NOTE:
Your vehicle is not provided with a replacement
tire as standard equipment.
Applicable tires are as follows.
