2 From the inside

To close, use the door waist bar . Close the
door completely.
• To lock the driver’s door or assistant driver’s
door, push the lock knob toward the front of
the vehicle. To lock a rear door, push the lock
knob down.
• To unlock and open the driver’s door or assist-
ant driver’s door, push the lock knob toward the
rear of the vehicle then pull the inner handle .
To unlock and open a rear door, pull up the lock
knob then pull the inner handle .
CAUTION
Closing the door by pulling any part other than
the door waist bar could damage the door
mechanism.
• When the side of the switch is pressed, all
doors are locked. When the side of the
switch is pressed, all doors are unlocked.
• When the lock knob on the driver’s door is
pushed forward, the assistant driver’s door and
the rear doors (Crew-cab model vehicles) are
also automatically locked. If the lock knob on
any door is subsequently pushed rearward, only
that door is unlocked.
• When the driver’s door is locked from outside
using the starter key, the assistant driver’s door
and the rear doors (Crew-cab model vehicles)
are also automatically locked. If the starter key
is subsequently used to unlock any door, all the
doors except that door remain locked.
