25 Lubrication system
25.1 Pressure relief valve
installation
Put the relief valve in position on the cylinder block and
tighten it to the specified torque.
25.2 Oil filter installation
1. Lightly lubricate the gasket with engine oil.
2. Install the new filter element by hand. When the
gasket contacts the base, tighten one turn more.
25.3 Oil pressure switch installation
Coat the threads of the switch with thread sealant
(Three Bond 1102). Use Oil Pressure Switch Socket
Wrench (MD998054) (special tool) to install the oil
pressure switch.

Tightening torque
5 ± 0.5 kgf²m
(36 ± 4 lbf²ft)
[49 ± 5 N²m]

To be coated with
thread sealant
CAUTION
1. Put the sealant on the threads only.
2. Do not over-tighten the oil pressure switch when
it is installed.
