DOWNLOAD OF THE FIRMWARE
1. Outline
Download the firmware to the ROM of the projector using
software.
2. Operating conditions
Microsoft
®
Windows
®
95/98/Me shall operate correctly.
A display device which can display VGA (640 x 480) or
above shall be used.
3. File contents
The following are the necessary files to operate the
software.
• “LVPDownload.exe” : Program file (execute form file)
• “Download.ini” : INI file
• “ ***.s ” :
S-file for downloading to the projector.
4. Installing the program
Copy “LVPDownLoad.exe” and all the data in “DataFile”
folder to any directory. Also copy the S-file for downloading
to the “DataFile” folder.
5. Preparation before starting the program
Connect the COM port of the PC for adjustment and the
RS-232C terminal of the projector with an RS-232C
cable.
6. Operating procedure
1. Double-click “LVPDownload.exe” to start the program.
2. Messages of precautions before downloading appear.
Click “OK” on the display.
3. The main dialog is displayed. Select the model to
download from “MODEL”.
After selecting the model, make sure that the software
name displayed in the software number is the software
to be downloaded.
4. Click “Start” and follow the instructions shown in
“Procedure”.
5. Remove the lamp cover of the projector and turn on the
main power.
6. Start downloading. Follow the instructions shown in
“Procedure” during downloading.
7. When download is completed, “Transfer” and “Writing
Check” on the main dialog will change to “OK” and a
message of “Completed downloading” will be displayed.
8. Click “End” to exit the program.
