A warm start can be initiated as follows:
By pressing the “reset” button if the operating
mode selector switch is set to “Run”, provided
that the PLC is currently set to “Ready”;
By switching on the power supply if the operating
mode selector switch is set to “Run”;
Using the programming software on the PC,
provided that the PLC is currently set to “Ready”.
Transferring programs If the user program contains no syntax errors, the
compiler in the programming device (PC) translates it
into code that can be understood and run by the
CPU. You must then load (transfer) the user program
into the RAM of the CPU, where it will be executed by
the microprocessor in the “Run” state.
