Motorola provides technical support to assist dealers, distributors and self-maintained customers in 
resolving problems, if any, with their unit. When contacting Motorola Technical Support, keep the 
radio’s model number and the unit’s serial number handy. Technical support contact information is 
listed below.
3.0 Radio Model Information
The radio’s model number and serial number are located on a label attached to the back of the unit. 
The radio’s model number indicates the unit’s RF output power, frequency band, protocols, and 
physical packages. The example below shows a mobile radio model number and its characteristics.
