Alert Settings
V3 telephones include up to 32 preset alert tones and vibrations that can be applied
to all alert events at the same time.
Battery Function
Battery Removal
Removing the battery causes the phone to immediately shut down and any pending
work (for example, partially entered phone book entries or outgoing messages) is
lost.

Pressing either volume key mutes the alert.

When using a Bluetooth headset, if you set an MP3 ring tone, the phone speaker
will play the default ring tone "Continental" instead of an MP3 ring tone. No
audible alerts are heard in the headset.

To ensure proper memory retention, turn OFF the phone before removing the
battery. Immediately replace the old battery with a fresh battery.

If the battery is removed while receiving a message, the message will be lost.
