Yourradioisprovidedwithafeaturethatallowsyourserviceprovidertodisableittemporarilyincaseitisstolen.
Whenyourradioisdisabledorispoweredupindisabledstate,itlooksandactslikeitisturnedoff.
Ifyourradioisfound,yourserviceprovidercanenableitagainovertheair.Afteryourradioisenabled,you
mayresumenormaloperation.
2.21TerminalPermanentDisable
Yourradioisprovidedwithafeaturethatallowsyourserviceprovidertodisableitpermanentlyincaseitisstolen
orlost.Whenyourradioisdisabledpermanently,itbecomesinoperable.AfteraPermanentDisableyourservice
providercannotenableyourradio.ItisrecommendedtoPermanentDisableyourradioonlywhenyoudonotexpect
torecoverit.IfitisrecoveredthenaPermanentDisableradiocanbereactivatedbyreturningittoMotorola.
2.22High/LowAudioToggle
TheuserisabletoswitchfromtheexternalearpiecetothemainspeakerusingSPEAKERCONTROLkeyandis
notrequiredtodisconnecttheexternalearpieceorPHF.
Thestatesoftheroutedaudioare:
•SpeakerHIGH—indicatesthataudioisroutedtothemainspeaker.
•SpeakerLOW—indicatesthataudioisroutedtotheearpieceorPHFearpiece,andnottothemainspeaker.
