Rev 7 36 (EN)
7.
Check and clean the
robotic mower regularly and replace worn parts if necessary,
preferably use a dry brush or a damp cloth.
Never use flushing water.
Follow these maintenance instructions for a long mower lifetime. Consider taking your
product to a recommended dealer for a complete cleaning, test and adjustment of all
functions, replacement of worn parts and software upgrades.
7.1 BATTERY LIFE
The robot mower has a maintenance-free lithium-ion battery with an estimated lifetime of
1000 charge & discharge cycles (depending on treatment and usage, i.e. the daily
programmed worktime). This battery is easy to take out of the robot
(
we recommend you
to take it out fully charged), and should be kept in a dry place (indoor during winter). It is
recommended to charge the battery every three months to keep it in best condition.
Long periods of non-usage as well as extreme temperatures (direct sunlight on
mower or a winter outside) will significantly limit the battery lifetime.
Therefore,
please protect your mower from extreme temperatures, take it in for the winter and give it
a full charge every now and then.
7.2 WINTER STORAGE
During winter we recommend to keep your mower and charging station in a shed or
ga
rage to avoid frost.
The following preparation should be carried out before winter storage:
1. Clean your mower
thor
oughly.
2. Charge the battery completely
3. Ensure the main power switch is OFF
4. Disconnect the charger/ power supply from the power socket.
5. Disconnect the charger/ power supply from the charging station.
6. Disconnect the boundary wire connections from the charging station. The
boundary wire can be left outside overwinter, but ensure the connections are
protected by water-free grease or tape to prevent
corr
osion.
The best storage will be in the supplied carton after cleaning and charging, with all 4
wheels flat in the box, or by storing on a clean shelf or garage.
7.3 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Its important to keep the robotic mower clean.
The mower will deal with slopes easier if the wheels are clean, cutting blades will also
cut
