3.11. Removing the Compressed Air Cylinder

(1) Place the compressed air breathing apparatus in a horizontal position with
the cylinder facing up.
(2) Hinge up tension clamp at cylinder strap and thus loosen the strap.
(3) Unscrew the cylinder valve from the pressure reducer.
Warning!
Do not remove or transport the compressed air cylinder from the
cylinder strap by the handwheel.
This could accidentally open the cylinder valve.
(4) Lift compressed air cylinder at valve and pull out of cylinder strap.
(5) Close high pressure connection and cylinder valve with a protective cap.
