2.18 Milk Cooler Vent Assembly Installation
Install the milk cooler vent assembly by rotating the vent assembly clockwise and allow the retaining
straps to engage in the retaining lugs. See Figure 13.
IMPORTANT: The vent for the milk cooler must be in place at all times. The vent prevents contaminates
from entering the milk cooler and provides proper air flow to prevent internal damage resulting from
vacuum or pressurization when the milk cooler is washed or emptied. Mueller Model “O,” “OE,” “OH,”
and “OHF” milk coolers are designed for operation at normal atmospheric pressure only.
