4.2 Activating the Account
NOTE It is not required to physically connect the Communicator 2.0 to controllers to activate the account.
This step can be done at a later time.
1. Install the unit and connect the Communicator 2.0 to a computer screen and keyboard
(Connecting the Communicator 2.0 to a Peripheral Device, page 11).
2. Apply power to the Communicator 2. The following screen appears:
3. Define the parameters:
o
Language: Chose the language from the drop down list.
o
Give your farm a name.
o
Choose the farm type, Poultry or Pig.
o
Baud Rate and Com Port: If required, edit these settings.
