When “Protect ON” is Set
If a function is set to “Protect ON” in the function protection settings, the protect passcode
must be entered when using that function.
For example, when the registering of address book destinations is set to “Protect ON”,
a screen requesting the protect passcode to be entered is displayed when <Setting>,
[Register] tab, and then [Address Book Entry] is pressed.
Enter the protect passcode, and press [Enter].
