ENGINE PICK-UP
The engine pick-up is situated on the left side of the
motorcycle. To check this component it is necessary to
identify the relative connector positioned as shown in
the figure, inside the frame on the left side of the motor-
cycle.
After having disconnected the pick-up connector, mea-
sure the resistance between the two points identified by
a (+) and a (-) that are indicated on the connector.
Pick-up resistance value: ~ 680 – 700 Ω

EAS (Quick Shift gear change - MY13)
The EAS - Quick Shift mode (selectable through the
dashboard functions) has the function to manage the
gear change without pulling the clutch lever and
without closing the throttle control.
This device (placed on the gear lever transmission rod)
detects the pressure exerted on the gear lever and
sends the information to the engine control unit, inter-
rupting the power to the coils and leading to a neutral
torque value on the gear control for the time necessary
to perform the gear change.
Remove the connector and check that there is conti-
nuity between pins 2 and 3 by keeping the sensor
under pressure (i.e. pushing the gear lever).
