Disassemble the ring seals (3) on the head.
Apply sufficiently adequate wadding to the exhaust
ports to stop the entry of dirt and dust into the cylin-
ders.

If the engine has to be removed from the frame, it will
be necessary to remove the chain as described in
chapter F “Suspension and wheels”.
Side exhaust protection disassembly
Remove the three screws (1) supporting the exhaust
protection.
