Screw in and tighten the three screws (1) at the base
of the steering.
Carry out this assembly correctly. A casual or
inexact assembly could compromise the sta-
bility and steering of the motorcycle.
Fit the right-hand leg following a similar procedure.

Tighten the three screws (1) at the base of the steer-
ing. Effectuate the operation several times until the
torque wrench does not turn the screw any more.
This operation must be carried for both stems.
Grease only the first threads.
Torque pressure: 8 ÷ 9 N·m

Fitting the fork legs
Reassemble the stem taking care to pass the electrical
wiring and the clutch tube inside the stem (between the
stem and the steering head).
To ensure proper positioning of the rods, refer to the
figure at right, taking care to observe fitting dimension
"X":
- F4 S / FT / R / F4 MY13: X = 212 mm
- F4 RR: X = 219 mm
