3.8 battery installation (GDIG3 / GDIX3)
4 AA batteries must be installed into the receiver before the appliance can operate. The receiver is located in the
bottom right corner of the appliance (Fig. 1).
note:
Ensure the 3 position slider
switch is in the "REMOTE"
position (middle position).

note:
If your opening to too small, you may need to pull the appliance out slightly.
1. Remove the right access panel from the side of the appliance.
2. Remove the front 2 screws from the inside edge (Fig. 2) and swing the control door open.
3. Remove the 2 screws holding the receiver in place.
4. Remove the receiver and replace.
