2. To slightly slow down the tempo, touch the outer rim of the Jog Wheel and turn it counter-
clockwise. Simultaneously, move the Tempo fader slightly up.
3. Repeat the aforementioned steps until both tracks play perfectly in sync.
7.16.6. Cuing the Next Track using the Jog Wheels
Having the tempos perfectly synced, use your headphones and the Jog Wheel to find the right po-
sition in the next track for fading it in:
1. Touch and hold the Jog Wheel on its top plate.
The playback holds at the current position.
2. While touching the top plate turn the Jog Wheel clockwise to seek in the track.
While turning the Jog Wheel the playhead moves slightly.
3. To seek in bigger steps, press and hold SHIFT + turn the Jog Wheel.
The playhead now moves in bigger steps.
4. When you have found the right position, turn the wheel counter-clockwise to place the play-
head position closely before that beat and hold it.
5. Together with the moment of a beat in the playing track, release the top plate.
