DISTANCE BASED PROGRAM
FUN RUN 5K
A 5KILOMETER RUN 3.1 MILES, FILLED WITH MODERATELY CHALLENGING HILLS. TRY TO
TOP YOUR PERSONAL BEST! THIS PROGRAM IS A SET DISTANCE, THE FASTER YOU DECIDE TO EXERCISE,
THE QUICKER YOUR WORKOUT.
Distance Based Program Set Up
1. Press the ENTER Key while in Standby Mode.
2. Enter your weight using the SPEED UP/DOWN Keys or the numeric keypad and press the ENTER key to confi rm.
3. Press the PROGRAMS Key to select Fun Run 5K and press ENTER to confi rm selection.
4. The upcoming speed and grade will be shown in their respective displays. Press the START key to begin your
workout. The time will count up from 0:00.
The dot-matrix area of the display will show the actual course profi le of the selected program. The taller the column,
the higher the incline for that interval. The fl ashing column shows your current interval.
HEART RATE CONTROL PROGRAMS
HEART RATE CONTROL 65% HRC WEIGHT LOSS
A BEGINNING OR RECOVERY HEART RATE CONTROL
PROGRAM THAT KEEPS YOU AT 65% OF YOUR MAXIMUM HEART RATE.
HEART RATE CONTROL 80% HRC CARDIO A MODERATE TO ADVANCED HEART RATE CONTROL
PROGRAM THAT KEEPS YOU AT 80% OF YOUR MAXIMUM HEART RATE.
Heart Rate Training Workouts
The Heart Rate Control programs are designed to monitor your
heart rate and automatically adjust the workout intensity to
keep you at a specifi c heart rate. This is done by changing the
treadmill’s incline. Your heart rate transmitter belt must always be
worn while using any of the heart rate control programs.
Heart Rate Control Weight Loss (65% MHR) Program
Set-Up
This program is designed to keep you exercising at 65% of your
maximum heart rate. Your maximum heart rate is an approximation
and is determined by subtracting your age from 220.
LE-X DISPLAY PROGRAM OVERVIEW AND SETUP
The target heart rates calculated by the
treadmill are based on average fi tness
of persons of the age indicated. You
may be more or less fi t, and your actual
maximum and target heart rate may be
correspondingly higher or lower. You
should therefore consult your physician
for the maximum heart rate that is right for
you and the heart rates that you can safely
exercise at.
